The Corporate/Commercial Group at Philip Lee, a leading commercial firm, are recruiting a solicitor (c. 1-5 years PQE) to join their team.

The role will have an emphasis on commercial contracts along with exposure to data protection.

Applications from strong candidates with general corporate and commercial experience with an emphasis on drafting and reviewing commercial contracts are welcomed. Experience in data protection would be important

Requirements

  • Be able to handle a diverse portfolio of cases and maintain a high standard of service to our clients;
  • Have strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Have the ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results working to tight deadlines;
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

Philip Lee will run another of our very successful 10 week summer intern programmes, beginning on  May 28,2018

We are interested in all graduates and undergraduates.  The programme itself gives students an excellent sense of what it is like to work as a trainee and ultimately as a lawyer in a leading commercial law firm.

As an intern you will be introduced to the work of the firm and will be an involved member of the team on various projects. Our trainees, associates and partners will give you the support you need and you will receive mentoring to help you make decisions about your future career.

Interviews & Selection

From the applications we receive, our Trainee Committee will make an initial selection of candidates. Those candidates will be invited to a group interview. We will let you know in April whether you have been included in this selection. Candidates chosen from the group interview will be invited to a final individual interview at the end of April. Offers will be made shortly after that.

What We Look For;
