Fiona joined the firm in October 2011 as a consultant to our Commercial Litigation group. She brings to the firm a great deal of litigation experience obtained both in the High Court and Commercial Court in Ireland, and in London where she was an associate in the Litigation Department of SJ Berwin until 2004. Prior to joining Philip Lee, Fiona was a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department of a leading Irish corporate law firm, and also a consultant specialising in high value commercial claims.

She has significant experience in relation to claims by and against service providers and investment managers in the investment funds industry. She also advises a wide variety of clients in general commercial disputes, ranging from the defence of an environmental claim for an international generic pharmaceutical company to dealing with disputes arising in relation to distribution and agency agreements on behalf of domestic clients.

Fiona also has solid experience in judicial review, having successfully advised a semi-state body in a judicial review of its procurement procedures following an objection by an unsuccessful tenderer, advised a public body on two significant judicial reviews relating to planning issues, and advised a property developer in resisting judicial review proceedings issued under the Planning Acts.

Fiona has resolved many cases on behalf of her clients through mediation and is fully versed in all alternative dispute resolution techniques.
