Jonathan heads the corporate and finance practices of the firm and has been a partner since 2002. He specialises in media and in a range of corporate, commercial and finance matters, including joint ventures, acquisitions and restructurings. Before joining Philip Lee he practised as an in-house lawyer for over six years.

Jonathan’s experience includes commercial transactions, project finance, acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate finance across a range of sectors, including energy and media. He is recognised as a leading practitioner in the area of film and television finance and is also a member of the firm’s projects group.

Jonathan’s recent transactional experience includes: advising a leading multinational infrastructure group on the sale of its Irish subsidiaries; advising a leading Irish energy company on the refinancing of over £40 million in banking and other facilities; advising a number of international banks on secured lending transactions; and advising the producers of the largest film or television project undertaken in Ireland during 2011.
