The ICEL is hosting a full day conference examining recent developments in competition law which will take place at the Royal Irish Academy, Dawson Street, Dublin 2 on April 20th. It will start at 10am and finish at 4:30pm. It will comprise two sessions, a morning session on recent case-law on Articles 101 and 102 TFEU, and an afternoon session on developments in State Aid law. An exciting line up of Irish experts will be joined by leading international commentators.
Partner and head EU, Competition and State Aid group Ronan Dunne will be speaking on recent developments in EU and Member State case law which highlight how excessive pricing of pharmaceutical products may constitute a competition law violation. Ronan will consider the underlying economy theories involved, as well as the policy challenges that this development brings.
