Inspirefest 2016: Top talks not-to-be-missed

Are you going to Inspirefest this week?  For anyone interested in what’s happening now and in the future in science, tech and innovation, it’s a not-to-be missed event.   But with so many international speakers, it can be a little daunting to decide which talk is right for you and your business.  Majella Crennan shares her view on the best and the brightest at the upcoming Inspirefest 2016.  As she looks forwards to Inspirefest 2016, Majella reviews the speaker line up and recommends the TOP THREE TALKS each day that you need to hear.

Thursday 30 June

Zoe Philpott @ 9.25 – 9.30 a.m.
Zoe is a tech entrepreneur and artistic storyteller with seventeen years in digital and over twenty years of writing, producing and directing for theatre software, film and live events. Zoe combines technology with arts to tell stories that engage new audiences.

Judith Williams @ 3 – 3.25 p.m.
Judith is Global Head of Diversity at Dropbox, where she leads all diversity and inclusion programs, as well as corporate social responsibility.

Jeanne M Sullivan @ 5.20 – 5.40 p.m.
Jeanne is an advisor, speaker, investor and connector. She is a co-founder of StarVest Partners, a venture capital firm in New York.

Friday 1 July

Jules Coleman @ 9.25 – 9.55 p.m.
Irishwoman Jules Coleman is the co-founder and chief product officer of Hassle.com, which allows people to hire a cleaner quickly and easily , now successfully sold the company won the start-up of the year at the Tech City Awards in 2013.

Mary Carty @ 2.20 – 2.40 p.m.
Mary is an entrepreneur with a background in the arts, innovation and technology. She is the co-founder of the ground breaking Outbox Incubator – the first ever incubator for girls in STEM aged 11-22.

Dr. Maureen Gaffney @ 5.10 – 5.55 p.m.
Dr. Maureen Gaffney is a renowned psychologist and the author of ‘Flourishing’ is not to be missed speaker and a wonderful wrap-up to the truly inspiring line up of contributors
