Chris Collenette is a consultant to Philip Lee’s corporate department and is responsible for the firm’s Canada Desk. Working with Irish government agencies such as the Industrial Development Agency, Enterprise Ireland, and Bord Bia, as well as Canadian government agencies such as the Export Development Corporation, the Canadian Commercial Corporation, Global Affairs Canada as well as Provincial and City economic development departments, Chris advises clients on:
Chris serves as Vice-Chairman and Director of the Ireland-Canada Business Association, Director of Think Research EU Corporation Ltd, Non-Executive Director of SAIC Aircraft Holdings Ltd and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Ireland Canada University Foundation.
Chris previously worked in Ottawa as an advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada, the Minister of Industry, and the Minister of Health. He also worked in Toronto for two national public affairs firms, where he represented dozens of major corporations to government. As a result, Chris commands a broad network of contacts across business and government circles in Canada.
Chris holds a BA in History from Carleton University, Ottawa; a LL.B from Trinity College, Dublin; a Certificate of Accreditation from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada; a Diploma in Legal French from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris and a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors, London. During his legal studies, Chris worked for several major corporate law firms on both sides of the Atlantic.
Chris is a resident of Ireland and a citizen of the United Kingdom and Canada.
