Jessica is a senior associate in the media and entertainment department, specialising in film and television financing and production. Jessica represents a broad range of media clients, including numerous production companies, financiers, banks, international film studios and film industry bodies.
Jessica’s experience includes securing and acquiring underlying and ongoing rights; contractual and security arrangements relating to financing and production and advising on Ireland’s tax incentive for film and television projects (Section 481). Jessica also has significant experience in advising and negotiating talent agreements including writer, actor, director, producer and composer agreements, as well as advising on all manner of production clearances and releases.
Jessica regularly advises on potential legal risks arising across a wide range of both national and international film and television programming content, with a particular emphasis on issues of defamation, rights of privacy and copyright infringement.
In addition, Jessica has significant experience with general corporate transactional matters, commercial contracts and corporate governance.
Jessica is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin who joined the firm in 2009. She qualified as a solicitor in 2013.
Jessica was recommended for her work in media and entertainment in the 2019 edition of Legal 500.
