Peter is a senior associate with experience in commercial disputes.

Peter advises on non-contentious intellectual property and regulatory matters. Peter’s background is in intellectual property and technology, holding a first class honours Masters in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law, and he regularly advises on matters concerning trade marks, copyright, patents and data protection.

Recent Work

      • Advising various clients on their obligations under the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015.
      • Advising a number of public bodies on various freedom of information matters, including preparing submissions in respect of reviews conducted by the Information Commissioner.
      • Drafting software licensing agreements on behalf of both public and private clients.
      • Advising multinational companies on different aspects of intellectual property law in Ireland, such as exhaustion of intellectual property rights, copyright law and patent litigation procedure.
      • Carrying out due-diligence searches of patent, trade mark and industrial design databases for clients.
      • Advising Sport Ireland on a number of branding/intellectual property issues.
