Stephanie is a senior associate in the litigation department, with a particular emphasis in dispute resolution and regulatory compliance advices for clients in the healthcare sector.
Stephanie has a broad range of experience in healthcare litigation. She has worked in private practice in both Ireland and the US where she has acted for hospitals, health systems, home infusion providers, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, home health companies, physicians, and public bodies, among others. Stephanie advises health sector clients in contract negotiations (e.g. clinical trial agreements, pricing agreements, etc.) contract disputes, and all aspects of pricing and reimbursement of medicinal products in the State. She also assists pharmaceutical companies with responding to complaints and with compliance efforts in respect of industry Codes of Practice.
Stephanie is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E). She advises a wide range of clients with data protection issues arising under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018, including, inter alia, helping clients deal with data breaches and drafting legally compliant contracts and policies.
While in the US, Stephanie served as a state Assistant Attorney General, where she civilly and criminally prosecuted health care practitioners for healthcare fraud and abuse, and subsequently worked for a large Chicago law firm in its healthcare litigation practice group.
Stephanie qualified as an attorney in the United States in 2009 and joined Philip Lee in 2014. She is qualified to practice law in both Ireland and the US (New York, Illinois and Missouri).
