Philip Lee is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas O’Malley as Partner. Thomas joins the Real Estate Department, current title holders of Property Law Firm of the Year and Leinster Property Law Firm of the Year.
Thomas specialises in commercial real estate with a focus on social housing and property development. He acts for investment funds, property developers, housing and government bodies on large-scale, mixed retail, commercial, and residential projects.

Previously, a real estate partner at McDowell Purcell (now Fieldfisher), Thomas utilises his considerable experience, accumulated over 30 years, to assist clients with site assembly and development agreements, high-value property acquisitions and disposals, complex title structures, joint ventures and collective property investments, and business leases.
Head of the department, Partner John O’Donoghue said: “With a continually expanding client base, we’re very pleased to welcome Thomas to the team. His expertise and skills add an important extra dimension to the range of services that we provide to clients. For instance, he is very active in the Social Housing sector and has pioneered the acceptance of title certification as a means to accelerate the delivery of leased social housing stock.”
