One of Israel’s leading technology start up entrepreneurs, Ben Lang of MapMe, was in Dublin today to speak at a briefing seminar hosted by Philip Lee in association with the Ireland Israel Business Network.
The invite only event was designed to raise awareness of the commercial links between Ireland and Israel. The two countries are seen as global leaders in technology incubation and development.
Mattan Lass from the Philip Lee’s corporate department said “This morning presented a unique opportunity to introduce some clients to Ben who is very typical of the thriving entrepreneurial culture in Israel. As the only lawyer in Ireland qualified to practice in Ireland, Israel and the UK, part of my role at the firm is to offer my expertise to Irish and Israeli businesses interested in developing and expanding their marketplace.”
Dr Clyde Hutchinson, of the Ireland Israel Business Network said: “As an organisation we are committed to exploring knowledge and innovation transfer opportunities, providing a networking forum for Irish and Israeli professionals and promoting Ireland and Israeli R&D. We’re delighted to have had an opportunity to do this via the event at Philip Lee.”
