Wrkit

Irish founded employee engagement platform Wrkit and its entire product set has been sold to British employee benefits software company Benefex.

Benefex, part of the Bain Capital-backed Zellis Group, is a leading provider of human resources, payroll software and related out-sourcing services in Britain.

Wrkit has experienced significant growth in the UK and abroad over the last few years and now supports more than half a million employees across 300 organisations.

The Wrkit teams in Ireland, the UK and Australia will join Benefex following the sale.

The combined Benefex and Wrkit offering will create the opportunity for new tools to serve customers with employee discounts in addition to wellbeing, fitness and learning products.

Philip Lee, led by Andreas McConnell and Anna Hickey, was delighted to advise Wrkit on this transaction.
