Following our first episode with David McKernan, founder of Java Republic, we are delighted to announce our second guest: Pierre Boutin, President and CEO of Volkswagen Group Ireland.
In this episode, Pierre shares what he was like growing up, the person who shaped his views, and reveals the toughest decision he ever had to make. Boutin joined Volkswagen Group Ireland as Managing Director and CEO in 2024 after leading the automaker’s Canadian business. Today, the group oversees Volkswagen, Audi, CUPRA, SEAT, Škoda and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and was Ireland’s largest seller of vehicles last year with aggregated sales of more than 35,000.
Pierre brings a wealth of experience from senior roles at Ford, Nissan and Volkswagen across Canada and Europe, and is a graduate of Université Laval, INSEAD and MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
