We are seeking an ambitious litigation lawyer for our commercial litigation department with between 1-4 years PQE. The team handles ADR and litigation matters across the legal spectrum, but the primary focus for the successful candidate will be disputes relating to procurement law, construction and regulatory law.


  • Managing disputes with an emphasis on ADR and the superior courts.
  • Working with senior department members on a variety of litigation matters.
  • Interpreting analysing and advising clients on relevant case law and legislation.

    Ideally 2-4 years’ PQE gained in a firm with exposure to commercial litigation matters in Ireland.

Philip Lee is looking for an accomplished IT Manager to manage, develop and support the firm’s ICT Infrastructure, services and software portfolio. The role is responsible for the ICT infrastructure, systems management, service delivery, operations and end-user training. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a background of IT support and management in a mid-sized company, preferably in the legal services sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the IT staff and server / network infrastructure
  • Act as primary systems administrator for IT services and applications. Perform / delegate system management duties to IT and facilities staff
  • Ensure that ever present cyber security threats are mitigated against
  • Maintain and improve backup, recovery and business continuity procedures
  • Recommend, plan, upgrade and implement new technologies in line with the firm’s needs. Takes a lead role in these projects
  • Define and maintain technical documentation, including procedures and policies
  • Assist with the preparation of the IT budget
  • Ensure that sufficient cover is provided at all times such that IT service levels meet the requirements of the firm. Carry out any other duties to commensurate with the purpose of the job


    This is very much a hands-on role, and recent technical experience managing a broad cross-section of technologies is required. These include but are not limited to:

  • Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server and Hyper-V
  • Microsoft Windows servers and clients
  • Primary Business systems especially iManage document management and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Legal specific business systems including practice management, case management, time recording and billing

Education, knowledge and experience

  • A 3rd level qualification in the field computer science / computer technologies
  • A professional IT Certification such as the MCSE / CCNA is desirable
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior IT role
  • Strong IT skills and extensive knowledge of Microsoft and Cloud technologies

Personal Qualities and Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels of the organisation, both verbally and in writing
  • Good communication skills and the ability to prepare quality documentation, reports and training materials
  • Reliability and attention to detail

Philip Lee is currently looking for an ambitious solicitor recently or newly qualified to join its busy media and entertainment team. The ideal candidate will be newly qualified from a busy commercial law practice.

The role will be principally transactional in nature, including the drafting and negotiation of financing and other legal documentation for film and television projects and associated transaction management. It will involve the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts as well as the provision of non-contentious intellectual property and technology-related advice.

In order to be considered for this role it is essential that candidates be able to demonstrate the following attributes:-

  • Solid transactional experience gained within the corporate, commercial and/or finance department(s) of a busy commercial law practice;
  • An interest in working in the media sector;
  • Strong academic background;
  • Excellent drafting, negotiating and organisational skills, and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are achieved;
  • A progressive attitude to business development; and
  • Significant client contact experience.
