A position has arisen within Philip Lee’s IT department for a Junior IT System Administrator who, working alongside the existing IT team, will manage and support the firm’s ICT infrastructure, services and software portfolio.

Key responsibilities:
- First level support via the IT team’s ticketing system for on-site and remote employees
- Setup and configure laptop and desktop computers
- Take charge on assigned IT projects reporting to IT management
- Troubleshoot any deskside issues for staff
- Troubleshoot any printer issues and log any repairs to support partners
- IT admin work as assigned
- New user account setups
- Disable any departing staff accounts as instructed
- Participate in IT training for new staff
- Maintain a “how to” library for all staff
Minimum qualifications and skills:
- Knowledge of OS (Windows 10)
- Hardware experience such as printers, computers, monitors etc.
- Logical thinker, ability to problem solve, proactive in resolving problems and troubleshooting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a particular focus on the provision of superb customer service
- A team player with good organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable skills:
- Experience in working on a helpdesk an advantage
- Experience with networking TCP/IP an advantage
- Experience in Windows server an advantage
- Experience working in a legal background an advantage, but not essential
- A professional IT certification such as the MCSE/CCNA is an advantage
