Hazel has experience in a wide range of corporate, real estate and landlord and tenant matters. 

Hazel acts for real estate developers throughout the full lifecycle of mixed‑use and residential developments, including site acquisition and development funding arrangements, drafting and agreeing service wayleaves with private, semi state and State bodies to secure the necessary services for residential developments, as well as the sale of completed units.  Hazel also advises both landlords and tenants on the leasing of commercial units.

In addition, Hazel has experience in corporate and commercial work, advising on both the buy‑side and sell‑side of M&A transactions and on general corporate advisory matters.

Recent Work

  • Advising a range of property developers on the acquisition of residential and mixed-use development sites, development structuring, and the disposal of units to Approved Housing Bodies, local authorities, and private purchasers.
  • Advising developers on development work, including arranging finance for residential and mixed‑use schemes, structuring debt and equity funding, and putting appointments and collateral warranties in place with consultants and contractors.
  • Advising on the leasing of commercial properties, including offices, creches, banks, public houses, restaurants, and retail units.
  • Acting on mergers and acquisitions across multiple sectors, including an infrastructure services company, a financial planning and tax advisory firm, a creche, and various retail businesses.
