In this episode, Bobby Healy shares how he is reinventing food delivery with drones. Healy founded Manna in 2018 and has raised over $60 million, including $30 million from investors such as Coca-Cola HBC. Manna’s drones fly at 80 km/h, delivering groceries and medicines within three minutes over a 3 km radius. The company has completed more than 170,000 deliveries, partnered with DoorDash and Just Eat, and is preparing to expand into the UK.
Healy began his career as a Nintendo game developer in 1986, later founded Eland Technologies which he sold to SITA in 2003, and advised CarTrawler as it scaled into a global travel tech leader. Today, he is taking logistics to the skies.
