Philip Lee LLP is delighted to share the second episode of Series 2 of Business Plus Talks, our podcast produced in association with Business Plus.
Hosted by David Burke, the series brings listeners candid conversations with CEOs, innovators, policymakers and change-makers, exploring the pivotal moments that shaped their careers and perspectives.
The second guest of Series 2 is Joanna Gilfoy, Director of Business at Vodafone Ireland, following last week’s episode featuring Donnchadh Casey, CEO of F5.
In her role at Vodafone Ireland, Joanna leads the company’s enterprise and SME division, supporting Irish organisations with connectivity, cloud, security and digital transformation solutions. She brings more than 16 years’ experience with Vodafone, having held a wide range of technical, commercial and leadership roles across engineering, sales, operations and product.
Before taking up her current role in Ireland in 2025, Joanna held several senior international positions within the Vodafone Group, including Global Head of Commercial, Planning & Engagement, and leadership of the IoT sales team for Northern Europe, where she helped drive business growth and strategic partnerships.
Earlier in her career, she worked with leading telecommunications and technology companies including Nokia, Virgin and EE, contributing to initiatives such as the launch of early mobile network services and 4G offerings.
Known for her customer-first approach and focus on innovation, Joanna works closely with businesses and public sector organisations to adopt emerging technologies such as AI, cloud and IoT, helping to improve productivity and support sustainable growth.
We are proud to support this podcast and bring you conversations that inspire, challenge and inform, just as our values inspire us to lead the way in law and business.
