AI company Webio has announced that it has raised €1.5 million in investment in a pre-Series A funding round.
Founded in 2016, Webio assists clients in the financial services, insurance and other sectors to communicate with their customers on sensitive subjects such as credit, collections and payments. The company intend the funding to go towards developing its capabilities in conversational AI, and expanding their R&D, sales and customer success teams to address market demand.
Finch Capital, a series A/B investor in high-growth financial technologies companies, led the funding round with a €500,000 contribution.
Philip Lee, led by Eoghan Doyle and Hugo Grattirola, was delighted to advise Finch Capital on this investment.
