At Philip Lee LLP, we believe leadership is something you grow through intention, not something you wait for.
As part of that commitment, we delivered our Women in Leadership Programme, designed to support women navigating senior roles, partnership pathways and leadership decision making in a professional services environment.
We partnered with Norma O’Sullivan, Founder and Leadership Development Coach at The Way Home Consulting, who supports professional service firms to develop technically excellent individuals into self‑aware, strategically minded leaders.
Across a series of immersive leadership sessions, Norma worked with 19 women in leadership roles across the firm, including Partners, Senior Associates, Of Counsel and Business Support Management. Her warm, humourous and deeply human approach created space for honest reflection, challenge and growth, allowing participants to explore what it truly means to lead with integrity, direction and courage.
The insights gathered reinforced the importance of clarity around leadership expectations, recognising leadership beyond billable hours, and fostering environments where psychological safety and meaningful engagement can thrive.
