Alison Hardiman spoke at the Irish Planning Institute Autumn Conference in Dublin last week, representing the Philip Lee Climate and Environment team. Amidst exciting talks from representatives of EirGrid and Uisce Eireann in particular.
Alison focussed on the need for wide policy coherence, robust decision making and positive messaging as it is sought to deliver our largescale, urgently required national infrastructure needs. Drinking water, wastewater, grid designed for on and offshore renewables… delivering fit for purpose infrastructure for these services that underpin our society requires expert navigation of planning laws at both policy and project level.
