Dearbhla joined Philip Lee LLP as a Counsel in the Climate Projects practice in London in October 2025.

Prior to joining the firm, Dearbhla spent over five years working on the Tier 1 ranked ESG team at Linklaters in London and four years with a top Irish law firm as a trainee and then Associate on their Tier 1 ranked Environment & Planning law team.

She has a wealth of experience advising clients in various sectors on:

  • environmental, social and sustainability aspects of transactional matters (including corporate M&A, JVs, IPOs and corporate bond offerings, international and domestic energy and infrastructure project financings);
  • environmental regulatory regimes (including pollution and contamination, environmental permitting, chemicals/hazardous substances, and waste frameworks); and
  • ESG regulation and sustainability strategy development (including reporting and disclosure regimes, decarbonisation strategy, and greenwashing risk mitigation).

She also has experience advising on a variety of carbon market transactions and advisory mandates, with a focus on nature-based carbon project development (for “insetting” and “offsetting” purposes).
