Finola is a senior associate advising in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.

On the non-contentious side, Finola’s experience includes drafting and negotiating bespoke building contracts, development agreements, professional appointments, sub-contracts and collateral warranties, acting for employers, contractors and design team members involved in significant, and often high-profile, commercial developments. Finola’s work has included advising developers of large student accommodation projects and Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) responsible for social and affordable housing schemes on all necessary construction contracts and meeting all funder requirements. Finola also has experience of advising funders of large residential schemes.

On the contentious side, Finola has experience of conciliation, mediation and arbitration, including ICC Arbitration. Finola also has broader litigation experience before the High Court and Commercial Court to include Judicial Review proceedings and planning injunction proceedings.
