David is a partner in the firm’s dispute resolution and litigation department.

​David advises clients in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters including commercial disputes, banking & financial services litigation, professional negligence, employment disputes, regulatory investigations and alternative dispute resolution procedures. He has significant expertise acting in large and complex disputes before the Commercial Court and other divisions of the High Court.

  • Acted for a professional services firm regarding the successful resolution of a complex partnership dispute.
  • Acted for a shareholder in a shareholder oppressive case under the Companies Act 2014, involving a company worth in excess of €200 million.
  • Acted for a corporate client in a long running Commercial Court case involving contract law and fiduciary duties.
  • Acted for a corporate client in a successful High Court action restraining enforcement actions by a lender.
  • Advise numerous developers clients in respect of Judicial Review applications.
  • Advised a corporate client on complex employment law issues involved in the purchase of a multiple hotels.
  • Advised a receiver in a long-running case instituted by lay litigants leading to a successful conclusion before the High Court.
  • Advised a commercial client in a complex claim against an insurance company leading to a successful conclusion.
  • Advised corporate clients in a European Commission State Aid complaint.
