Alison is a senior associate in Philip Lee’s litigation and dispute resolution department providing advisory and litigation services to both statutory bodies and private clients, with a particular focus on public and administrative law, data protection law, statutory interpretation and litigation.
Alison has extensive public and administrative law and regulatory experience having been the lead solicitor for her previous firm in connection with the delivery of services to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman and the Residential Tenancies Board. Alison has acted for public sector clients in various High Court judicial review proceedings challenging the processes and procedures of decision makers. Alison has also advised various public sector clients in respect of employment law, their obligations pursuant to the GDPR and the Freedom of Information Act.
Alison also has wide-ranging experience acting for private sector clients across all court jurisdictions in commercial litigation including advising financial institutions, international organisations, property developers, auditors and private clients.
