Louis is a partner in the banking and finance group with significant experience in advising institutional and private clients on a wide range of multi jurisdiction corporate lending matters, specialising in real estate finance, development finance, acquisition finance and asset-based lending, including factoring and invoice discounting.
In addition to general transactional corporate lending, Louis has also managed and participated in multi-departmental teams on loan sale projects involving large portfolio sales and bilateral off market sales and acquisitions, acting for vendors and bidders/investors seeking to purchase new assets.
In recent years Louis has advised numerous domestic and international clients in relation to some of the most high profile financing transactions completed in Ireland, a number of which have been awarded the prestigious âDeal of the Yearâ by Finance Dublin magazine.

- Advised Castlehaven Finance in relation to facilities advanced to the Cosgrave Property Group to fund its exit from NAMA and the development of a number of major residential schemes in key locations around Dublin.
- Advised Irelandâs largest nursing home provider in relation to its loan facilities with a leading Irish bank.
- Advised Capitalflow in relation to facilities advanced to one of Irelandâs leading hospitality groups.
- Advised Castlehaven Finance in relation to facilities advanced to a borrower to fund the acquisition and development of a site in Dublin with planning permission for 80 apartments, incorporating advising in relation the complex intercreditor arrangements with a mezzanine lender and a number of subordinated lenders.
- Advised a UK fund in relation to financing the development of a number of primary care centres around Ireland.
