  • Advising a Plc on a cross border examinership securing unique co-operation between the Irish and English courts and resulting in the first ever successful applications for:
  • Court protection for an insolvent UK company under the Irish Companies Acts; and
  • The dismissal of a winding-up petition in the UK based on a letter of request from the Irish High Court and under the Cross Border Insolvency Regulations.
  • Advising a grant authority in relation to threatened liquidation and dissolution of beneficiary companies in receipt of significant state funds.
  • Effecting a restructure of a group of companies in the not for profit sector by way of a number of mergers by absorption under the Companies Act 2014.
  • Merging two groups, releasing and re-taking security, converting debt to equity, procuring shareholder / director exit and undertaking various Summary Approval Procedures across the group structures.
