Sean is a senior associate in the banking and finance team. Sean has significant experience acting for a wide range of financial institutions, non-bank lenders and corporate borrowers on all aspects of corporate lending.

Sean has advised on a number of multi-jurisdictional transactions and has a particular focus on real estate, development and acquisition finance. Sean has been involved in a number of transactions which have been awarded the prestigious “Dublin Finance Deal of the Year” award.

Recent Work

  • Advised the lender in relation to the financing (approx. €200m) advanced to a property group to fund its exit from NAMA and the development of a number of residential schemes across Dublin;
  • Advised the lender in relation to the financing of a €53m mixed purpose development in Dublin;
  • Advised a leading Irish developer on the refinancing of its portfolio of development and investment properties;
  • Advised a lender in relation to the financing advanced to a limited partnership to be used to fund a housing development in Cork;
  • Acted in the provision of approximately €35m to finance a development site involving both a forward fund and turnkey sale to an Approved Housing Body;
  • Advised a lender on an initial €12m facility advanced to the only company in Ireland producing biomethane and injecting it into the national gas grid;
  • Advised an Irish developer in relation to the €30m financing of the development of a number of primary care centres across Ireland;
  • Advised a pillar bank in relation to facilities advanced to an approved housing body to fund the development and investment phases of a social housing portfolio;
  • Acted for a leading Irish bank in the financing of a number of acquisitions across multiple jurisdictions in the technology sector.
