Philip Lee LLP was delighted to advise European Green Transition plc (AIM: EGT) on its acquisition of a profitable onshore wind operations and maintenance (O&M) business operating across the UK and Ireland.
The O&M Business was acquired from the court‑appointed liquidators of Arena Capital Partners (in liquidation) for a cash consideration of £3.5 million, funded through existing cash resources and short‑term bridging facilities.
The acquisition includes Earthmill Maintenance Ltd in Great Britain, an 85% interest in WEP Wind Energy Partnership Ltd and its Northern Ireland subsidiary Silverford Engineering Ltd, together servicing over 900 wind turbines across the UK and Ireland. It also includes a 52% interest in Anemos Analytics Ltd, a Scotland‑based condition monitoring software business.
