COP28 concluded on 13 December 2023 with the assessment of the Global Stocktake concluding with an agreement to transition away from fossil fuels in energy systems.
Although advancement of the Article 6.2 and 6.4 rules did not reach consensus, there were many other announcements and pledges, including in the verified carbon market.
