Gavin is a partner in the Corporate and Commercial team at Philip Lee. He advises Irish and international clients on corporate transactions, commercial contracts, business disputes, and real estate.
Gavin acts for management teams, investors, and owner-managed businesses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, debt and equity finance, management buyouts, corporate governance matters, and private equity-backed transactions. He regularly advises on share schemes, profit-participation structures, convertible instruments, and shareholder arrangements.
He also advises clients on a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply, service and distribution agreements, SaaS arrangements, manufacturing contracts, construction contracts, and consultancy agreements.
Gavin has significant experience in contentious company law matters, including shareholder oppression proceedings under section 212 of the Companies Act 2014, disputes involving deadlock and governance breakdown, and urgent injunctive relief applications.

Prior to joining Philip Lee, Gavin was a partner at BHK Solicitors LLP, where he led the firm’s corporate practice. He brings a commercially focused, solutions-driven approach grounded in deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of clients’ strategic objectives.
