Service station and oil distribution provider Corrib Oil has announced it is to buy forecourt retailer H2 Group.
Corrib Oil, comprising Corrib Retail and Corrib Distribution, will acquire 13 retail sites based across the south and east of Ireland, expanding Corrib Retail to a total of 33 stores. The deal signed in September 2021 and completion is subject to regulatory approval.
Corrib Oil currently employs 700 people and the addition of the H2 Group will bring total employee numbers to over 1,000 people.
The expanded business will have the scale, breadth and capabilities to compete more effectively and offer an enhanced service to more customers.
