Aoife is a senior associate in the media and entertainment department, specialising in advising on film and television financing and production.

She represents a broad range of media clients, including numerous production companies (film/television/animation), financiers, banks, international film studios and film industry bodies.

Aoife is a graduate of Dublin City University and Dublin Institute of Technology. She qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and worked in a large corporate firm in Dublin before joining Philip Lee in 2017.

Aoife has lectured on the Law Society Diploma in Arts, Entertainment and Media Law.

  • Several major US studios, including Disney and Skydance, on the financing of large film/television productions.
  • Media lender Cofiloisirs in relation to the financing of numerous television productions.
  • The producers of the forthcoming feature film “Marlowe”, directed by Neil Jordan and starring Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger and Jessica Lange.
  • The producer of the forthcoming feature film “God’s Creatures” starring Emily Watson and Paul Mescal.
  • The producer of the feature film “The Wonder” starring Tom Burke and Florence Pugh.
  • Production companies in relation to negotiations and contractual arrangements with financiers on feature film and television projects.
  • Production companies on equity investment agreements and complex feature film and television financing transactions, as well as security arrangements.
  • Production companies on contractual negotiations with writers, directors, actors, producers, composers and other individuals relating to the assignment or licensing of rights for use in television programmes and feature films.
