Aoife is Of Counsel in the media and entertainment department, specialising in advising on film and television financing and production.

Aoife advises many of Ireland’s leading film, television and animation production companies on their projects.  Aoife has advised several major US studios including Amazon MGM and NBC Universal on the financing of large-scale film/television productions. Aoife also advises media lenders such as Cofiloisirs and Natixis Coficiné in relation to the financing of numerous television productions. 

Aoife is a graduate of Dublin City University and Dublin Institute of Technology. She qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and worked in a large corporate firm in Dublin before joining Philip Lee in 2017. Aoife lectured on the Law Society Diploma in Arts, Entertainment and Media Law in 2019/2020.

  • Various production companies on contractual negotiations with co-producers, writers, directors, actors, composers and other individuals relating to the assignment or licensing of rights for use in feature film and television projects.
